I'm putting some overall methods that helped me in most of my AP Classes and not all the methods apply to all of the AP Classes but still some guidance for you!
Methods to Study
Method A
Spill Your Brain
- Go to a Google Doc.
- Turn on the voice notes where you speak into the mic.
- Spill everything you got or know about the topic pointed.
- Then after talking about everything you know, read through the whole thing.
- Look through your notes after and if you got more than 80% of the things from your notes in the voice typing — You will know the rest by context!
Method B
Lazy Studying: 4 Day Process
-
First, divide the unit into 3 whole parts and by difficulty, and do it in this order:
- Easy - Day 1
- Difficult - Day 2
- Medium - Day 3
- This way you get motivated to study the first part, then you get to something you don't know, you still try to work through it!
- Day 4 is just update day, so review things not just by reading notes but by trying new problems and making you own!
Method C
Be the Teacher!
- Grab all the work for the unit or semester and take the first worksheet and look for the ones that have the most errors or scribbles and circle all of those.
- Do that for every worksheet.
- Then make a new worksheet combining all those problems and tweak them like a teacher would, and make solutions for them and do it.
- This way you learn what types of problems might be on the test and solve them too.
Method D
100 Percent Method
- Sounds insane but take the review guides and quizzes that you have for the unit or sem and keep answering them and grade yourself harshly each time on each worksheet!
